Snorkeling at Coki Beach: Coki Beach offers the best snorkeling from a beach in ST Thomas. Generally calm, clear waters and sandy bttom makes Coki Beach user friendly for kids and adults alike. We are the one beach on the island that has comparalbe snorkeling to ST Johns National Park Beaches. One can literally stand in chest deep water and hand feed a variety of reef fish. Most of the water is shallower then 20ft with general no or mild current making Coki Beach a pefect spot for beginers. There are deeper reefs a bit further off shore for the more exerinced snorkelers and divers.The best snorkeling is right below our dive shop and to the right and left of the beach.

We do recommend fins when snorkeling to prevent over tiring and problems with the current. We do not recommend snorkelers attempting to swim to Thatch Cay across from Coki Beach. It is further then it looks with strong currents and boat traffic! PLEASE DO NOT STAND ON THE REEF WITH YOUR FINS OR TAKE ANYTHING FROM THE WATER.

The beach can get busy, it is best to get to the beach early and beat the crowd.

About our location: Having been located in the parking lot of the beach since 1989, we are now located right around the corner at the entrance to the Coral World property at the top of a few steps the lead down to the beach. We over look the best snorkeling area. Along with our snorkel rentals for $10 you also have access to Coral World's restrooms. We have lockers to rent for $5 along with a secure area for larger bags and valuables. If your driving to the Coki Beach, parking is available for ours and Coral Worlds customers. Please be aware that solicitors hired by the local beach vendors may come up to your vehicle and try an rent you snorkel gear. Just politely let them know you have a reservation with the Coki Beach Dive Club. Also remember our gear is sanitized after each use and the best quality rented on the beach.

About Our Snorkel Gear: All our snorkel gear is scuba quality, meaning the mask and fins are the same we use for our scuba diving. The mask is black silicone which has a small amount of graphite making the skirt of the mask extra soft. The snorkels are all equipped with a purge to make clearing water from the snorkel easier. All our snorkel mouth pieces are removed and sanitized after every use. If you had fun afterwards keep in mind we also have snorkel gear to purchase. Try it before you buy it!

Daily Snorkel rentals: $10 - includes mask, fins and snorkel. We also have fish food and defog for your mask.

We can rent you gear for more then a day also. Let us know how long. We can pick it back up at your hotel.

Snorkel vest: $5 - Our snorkel vest are comfortable and available in a variety of sizes.

Snorkel lesson and tour at Coki Beach: $30 - "Perfect for the first time Snorkeler!" Let us show you the beauty and wildlife of Coki Beach during an amazing snorkel tour.  You'll get a 1/2 hr lesson and tour with a trained professional. Price includes full-day snorkel rental.

Night Snorkel $40 See whats there at night, more then you think! Right off the beach An underwater light is provided. One hour in duration.

Boat snorkel trip: $45 - Get away and take a short boat ride to a nearby Cay and snorkel for a couple of hours. Sign in at 1PM go out around 1:30 PM return back around 3:30 PM Minimum of 2 persons needed.
