Night Dives
COST: $65.00 includes all gear, light and guide.
$55 with your gear.
FOR: Certified Divers Only (no special certification is required to dive at night).
WHEN: Reservations are a must but we try to be flexible. We generally meet between 5:30 and 6:30 depending on time of year and when the sun sets.
DESCRIPTION: Come see why Skin Diver magazine writes "Coki Beach is a great Night Dive." There's no boat ride to worry about, and there's always something to see. Stingrays, tarpon, octopus, sea stars, eels, and lobsters are a few of the creatures that come out to play on the Coki Beach reefs when the sun goes down. At night the coral reef really comes to life!
The dive is easy and non-threatening. If you've wanted to do a night dive but are a little bit nervous, here's your chance. Plus you'll be done in time to make dinner!
PREREQUISITES: You must show proof of either an Open Water Diver Certification or a Scuba Diver Rating. We recommend a day dive if it's been a while between dives. Don't leave your certification card at home. Remember that we also rent and sell underwater cameras. The photo opportunities on a night dive are unsurpassed. After 25 years of diving Coki Beach at night I still make new discoveries.
RESERVATIONS: E-mail ahead for reservations or call us at: 340-775-4220 or 1-800-474-2654
You never know what you're going to see off Coki Beach at night, but you'll almost always see eels and stingrays.
