Discover Scuba Diving

With the aid of a flip chart, one of our qualified instructors will explain the most important rules of diving, along with the basic skills needed for your scuba dive. The lesson is concise and is designed to inform but not confuse. After a dry land lesson, you will suit up and enter the water into near pool-like conditions along the shore where you will practice the skills covered in the lesson with your instructor.

After gaining confidence by practice, you will simply submerge and begin your dive. Watch your instructor feed the fish as you begin your guided dive along a live coral reef, floating weightlessly. You will be visited by a variety of tropical fish, and just might encounter a turtle or stingray. During your dive, your air gauge will be carefully monitored by your instructor to ensure that you don't get low on air. The dive typically lasts about 40 minutes, with a maximum depth of 40 feet, depending on your comfort level. You will be surprised by how quickly you relax!

After completing your dive, we invite you to stay and snorkel at Coki Beach, the best snorkel spot on St. Thomas. If you don't have your own snorkel gear with you, you can use our rental gear for free or purchase some of our Retail.

If you are planning on getting Open Water Certified you can count this dive toward that goal.

Your scuba dive will be an experience you will remember the rest of your life. Over the years, thousands of our beginner divers have continued on to become PADI Open Water Certified Divers.
